Age Progression
.......................................................................................................
Age progression is the method used by forensic artists to predict
how a person will look in the future. It is used to identify adults
or children that have been missing for a number of years. A fugitive
update can also be done, aiding in current investigations, cold
case investigations, and also helping to maintain the statute of
limitations in an open case.
Many families also request an age progression of children for special
occasions.
To do the best possible age progression sketch, Dalene will request
the most recent, straight front, "school type" picture
of the missing person. More accuracy is possible if pictures of
the parents and siblings are available. If the subject is an adult,
lifestyle is also a factor that is used to help with the accuracy
of the picture.
